You can use Krylon just fine. I actually like the Walmart brand spray paint (less than $1 a can). Best thing about Testors is the color selection is usually geared more for models. But for black, white, grey, red, yellow etc, the Walmart brand works just fine.
I'm building a Millenium Falcon to be a gift for my nephew.
I plan on painting it flat white, then adding a little weathering.
I figure I'll need a gallon of paint, due to the size of the Ertl kit.
Using a can of Krylon will work better than those little model
paints. I would run out before one side was done!
I like Krylon flat white primer. It's fairly thick and if sprayed on in several light coats it will fill all those annoying sanding scratches. Also, it's solvent seems to be a little "hot", so it will stick really well to plastic. White also makes a nice undercoat for light colors.
