Removing paint from clear parts
I painted some clear parts with black tinting, but I got it on too heavy so it does not look even. Is there a way to remove paint from clear pieces without damaging them?
What about the old standby Easy Off Oven Cleaner? I've never tried it on clear parts though...don't know if it will damage the different kind of plastic.

I've only used 2 different ways of removing oaint, Pine-sol and Simple Green. The latter is safe for clear pieces but I would not recomend Pine-Sol for clear pieces after seeing what it does to colored styrene and you should leave any pieces soaking in Simple Green for at least 2 weeks.
Normal?? What is normal??
