Fiber Optics and Drill Bit Sizes

Post by csquare »

Quick question: If I'm going to use 0.25mm FO, then what size drill bit would I use?

Thanks for your help in advance.

0,3-0,4mm - whatever you have available.

And check the planned glue before you use it on the kit - some/many glues affect the FO. White glue/Elmers is safe for sure.
Have a nice day.

CA (cyanoacrylate, superglue) eats optical fiber. So unless that is the effect you want, it would be better not to use it.
