Airbrush Recomendation

Post by Cyber-Sith »

I've been thinking about getting an airbrush to be
strictly used for spraying future.

I have the Badger model 350 single action external mix in mind.
(very cost evective for a special use only brush)

Has anybody used one of these for spraying Future?

Any opinions? Good? Bad?

I used the 350 for nearly 20 years with no complaints. I recently upgraded to an Iwata, but the 350 is still near by. The only real issue is the smallest diameter it can do is 3/16", but it can be overcome with planning and patience.

It should be fine for spraying Future.
You don't need a special one, though, if you use acylics.

Now metallics - especially lacquer-based ones like Alclad might merit a separate airbrush.

Thank's For the suggests!

By the way since the time I posted this topic I've also wondered
about airburshing Woodstain. (Minwax, and not their waterbased stuf)

I like to make my own bases and again i was wondering
If any body has done this?

Yes. i have one, and i use it for air-brushing my warhammer stuff with GW paints, and spraying future. it works great for it, and it's easy to clean after future (just immerse the thing in windex, and rinse thoroughly)
