Post by yodasan »

Is it a bad idea to paint (eg enamel) on top of a coat of Future?

i wouldn't think so... but then i've nverer tried it...

wait, yes i have... but only with acryllic paints... i don't think enamel would be a probalem, but lacuer might be, i know enamel + lacuer = bad, but i'm not sure about acrylic + lacuer, or acrylic plus enamel...

future being acryllic... i'd advise to test on a peice of scrap styrene first...

You should be OK.
I would use a semi-gloss or matte enamel, though.
