Modeling foam

I know that this is a little off topic for this forum...but I gotta give it a try....nothing ventured, nothing gained so they say.

After recieving a Wierd-oh kit for Christmas ( Leaky Boat Louie) from my daughter, we've decided that she and I will do some fun modifications.

One thing we want to do is replace his white plastic glass with a clear glass with some 'mystery' liquid....only problem is....this 'mystery' liquid needs a decent foam 'head'

Here we run into a problem...how to effectivly model beer like foam???

Anyone have a good suggestion for pulling this off?

A teeny-tiny drop of insulating expanding foam from a can? How you would get just a tiny drop is the hard part. Smooth-on and the other resin suppliers sell a two-part expanding foam that you could mix in very small quantities but I think that'd be expensive overkill unless you could use the rest of the package on other projects.

Believe it or not, I've known someone to use Cool whip. Is it airtight? If it is, put a little more cool Whip in there than what you want, put your "mystery fluid" in, and wait. The cool whip will dry out, shrink a bit, and then look like beer foam. Just keep it out of direct sunkight. It'll yellow and evaporate.

A tiny bit is actually easy, squirt on to some waste paper a bit of foam and dip a tooth pick in. If you do this really quick when the foam is really liquid you can really control the small drops which then expand evenly
