Pegasus Alpha Centauri lighting
I'm currently developing a lighting module for the Pegasus mini UFOs - can be used standalone with just a power source for static lighting, or coupled with my LED driver externally for animated lighting sequences.

That looks great I had a design started in eagle layout but never finished. How much will a bare bones board cost (un-populated).

I just posted an update with some video of the lighting module running

DUDE!!! That's AWESOME! I hope you DO market this! It's a cheap kit so there is $$ left over to buy stuff to go with it! It just BEGS to be put in a diarama with lights! I bought Scale Solution's cow stand for it, and went to town buying all kinds of barnyard animals and people to go with it! I'm looking forward to my build, but it will HAVE to wait for THIS!
You rock! Take your time, it's worth waiting for!

Your mileage may vary, void where prohibited, if it lasts more than 4 hours, see a doctor. All prosecutors will be violated. Only fools are certain. Substantial penalty for early withdrawal. The best advice I ever received was "Don't take anyone's advice. Listen to what everyone says, then make up your own damned mind."
Sorry for the lack of updates! I've now found a real job so it's back to modelling!
I now have a limited number of UFO lighting sets available. The price is 50 GBP +P&P for 1 set, or 90 GBP + P&P for 2 (Paypal ok for non-UK. Insured postage typically 10 GBP worldwide)
Each set consists of
Assembled & tested controller board with 6 patterns
Assembled & tested lighting board - your colour choice of red, yellow or green LEDs
Prewired miniature mode selection switch
Battery box & lead
1 foot of interconnection wire (8 way)
Instructions
Some basic soldering ability is required to connect the two boards together - I can't do this part because the wires have to pass through a hole in the UFO before joining.
Any questions, give me a shout!

For people like me who live in the USA, a much cheaper 16 LED chaser kit can be found at:

Albeit it is nice information to have...

While that looks like a decent generic kit, Ant's product is designed to fit into the UFO model like a glove. As having purchased two of these kits, I can tell you the quality is top notch. Even though I have yet to start my build, I have no doubt that everything will fit and function as it should.
