Attaching 12 volt wall wort to mad man board

Post by Yakface »

What is the best way to do this? I bought a 12 DC volt wall wort that is rated at 300mA. How would I wire the board and wall wort together? I'm new at this.

Thanks
Kevin

Thanks ChrisQ. So do you basically get male and female versions of these?

The wall-wart presumably already has a plug attached, so you just need the matching socket.

If this is not a regulated wart you better check the output voltage and plug polarity first.

Hmmm..

Have a look on my site, in the downloads section. The Starfury, Starship and Big Starship kits all explain how to do this in their instructions. Of course, those come with the matched pair of DC power plugs, none of the other kits do.
