Looking for small 6v lithium battery
I am working on a project and need a small 6v lithium battery. It needs to fit in a space the size of 3 button cell batteries. An 'N' size battery is just a bit too big. The more Mah the better. I could also do a rechargeable lithium battery as well since I think they are pretty flat. I have searched a lot but have come up short. So, I'm reaching out...........

CR2325 is quite big. CR2032 is a bit smaller.

4 x LR44 stacked up?
This might help:

Re: Looking for small 6v lithium battery
I have seen a lot of them type batteries at two local Fargo "battery" franchises. Like one is called Batteries Plus. They where both capable to set up a custom made packs for rechargable lithium cells with a choice of connectors.robiwon wrote: So, I'm reaching out...........
My drothers is to use a AC/DC wall converters on Trek model but I shop there for watch and motorcycle batteries. Hopefully there are such stores in Kentucky. I'm only familure with the Louisville- Ft Knox- E-town areas.
Radio Shack sells some small batteries - stuff for pet collars, garage door openers, etc. Smaller than an N cell (I think 2/3 AAA or 2/3 AAAA size, or even smaller) and 6V and 12V capacities...
As for battery holders - they pretty much suck. Any battery holder you can buy off-the-rack is going to add something like 3mm to the dimensions of the cell. The smallest battery holders are the metal battery clips made for mounting on a PCB - but of course that doesn't help you if you're not mounting on a PCB. Best to just take some time to cultivate a skill for building your own battery holders.

O.K. this is what I just finished working on. It's the Cricket phaser from ST-TNG. The board can handle 6v to 9v. The problem is that it seems to drain small coin batteries. I can only fit three of the common 357 type batteries in there for 4.5v. I had some cheapo chinese LR44's (390's) that are thinner. I can fit 4 to 5 in there but they were drained quickly as well. Before I sealed up the body I hooked it up to my adjustable, regulated, power supply set at 6v and it was super bright. But I can't walk around with it plugged into the wall! I may have to just buy a good stock of LR44's (390's).
