hey all,
i have a side project that ive been working on and to finish it i need a 5.5" white round cold cathode... and i need it before friday...

anyone know a good source?

Not sure if its the same thing, but I picked up one of those lighting kits from an Auto Parts store that had a pair of "bulbs" at the dimension you stated. For a quick & dirty solution to powering the thing, turns out Radio Shack has a wall wart that converts AC into and presents a standard cigarette lighter plug power.

Perhaps some EL wire laid out to meet your
circular requirement.

thanks for the ideas, but i finly broke down ad just bought an ledkit from pepboys
