Model Masters on Tamiya on Model Masters

Post by iSteve »

I've finished my colours, done in Model Masters acrylics. My LHS is out of MM gloss (for decaling) but said I could use the Tamiya acrylic gloss I already have. Once the decals are on, I want to finish it with semi-gloss, which I have again in Model Masters acrylic.

Has anyone mixed brands like this? Will I have a problem painting one brand over another?

As long as they are all acrylics...and fully cured between coats...you shouldn't have any issues with mixing paints.

Ah-yup. Acrylic to acrylic is perfectly fine if all is cured.

And if you're airbrushing go find some Pledge with Future shine.
