Duck Egg Blue help

Post by kahless78 »

Do they make a duck egg blue in a spray can? If not does anyone know of anything that comes close?

Flair Models do a Duck Egg Blue spray...

http://www.flairmodels.co.uk/Finishing/Spectrum.htm
But they are intended for RC models so they are heat & fuel resistant, so they may be too "hot" for styrene without careful priming.

If you have an airbrush, Valejo do Duck Egg Green in their air range (it's a bit greener than the blue).

Duck Egg Blue is FS35622 so you may be able to use this to find a close match.
"I'd just like to say that building large smooth-skinned models should be avoided at all costs. I now see why people want to stick kit-parts all over their designs as it covers up a lot of problems." - David Sisson
