white primer VS flat white enamel help needed

Post by BERT aka MODEL MAKER »

I have an apollo command module that i want to leave flat white. I used tamiya fine white primer on it & it looks great. What will spraying a flat white testors enamel on top of that look like ? will there be any difference & is there ANY benifit of spraying it with flat white enamel or will it be a waste of time & paint ? I plan on adding 2 small decals after i brush on a spot of future or clear gloss to apply the decal to.

Hmm, sounds like you probably don't need to paint it.
I speak of the pompatous of plastic.

Yeah, I often use white primer and skip the white paint afterwards.

Glossiness, etc comes from the top-coat anyway.
