Refit Garden Windows

I posted this in the Trek forum but thought the technique might be good for other types of lighting...

Thanks to Gunstar's analysis of the garden ceiling in the refit I think I have a pretty good reproduction.

From TMP screen caps I created a ceiling and printed it out on photo paper, lit the garden with two white LED's and back lit the "sky" with two blue ones.

After 2 months of sitting, waiting, in a little box the garden has been installed. Here is the ceiling and a compare shot to TMP...

Here is the port side view. Note the final pearl/non-pearl finish on the hull. Pearl as in TMP, with a light ILM "L" shaped weathering over it....

Finally the bay is finished, except I need to build a shuttle and add the little bumps for the phasers. NOTE, the starboard side door is not warped, some kind of weird shadow...

nice work!!!! love your paint job too. have any WIP pictures?
