Vacuforming parts

I have access to a vacuform machine. Is it a good idea to use this to make a few panels with some deep recesses?

I would say without looking at the parts, as long as the edges aren't too sharp, and the recesses aren't too deep, then it should be fine.

Also, make a female mold instead of a male one. This will lend sharper detail. The flip side is it's hard to know just where to put the air hole inside so it'll drain all the air.
