Well, I've had a mistake and just wanted to know if there is a good effective way to safely remove paint from plastic.
IF Julius Cesar were anything, like me, he'd realize that "friends" are just people who are too scared to stab you in the back.

I've had good experience with Simple Green.

I've even used Brake Fluid, but I think the EZ Off was the easiest to clean up for me.

Is the paint acrilic or what and is the plastic clear or opaque?

Alrighty, thanks...

Looks like oven cleaner wins.

just to clarify...I had a bit of an overspray problem that i failed to see when I was working on the primer coat for my 350 Enterprise.
Short story..I peeled off some of the bascoat when I lifted the template..tried to fix it, repainted, same problem..so I'm going back down to the plastic again.

See, that's why I paint with acrylics :D A little windex, maybe some alcohol if it's been sitting on there for a while, and the stuff washes right off. No mess, no nasty fumes!

Simple Green make take it's time but it's the easiest to work with (and you can flush the leftover fluid).

Purple power or superclean is good too! Just wear the proper PPE. It won't burn you but it will suck the moisture right out of your hands and dry them out if it gets on them.

This works great for me. Just brush it on, wait for few minutes. Then rinse with water.
