Cheap clear resin alternative?

Hi all,
I'm looking to cast up a few clear pieces for a project and I'm looking for some quality clear resin that won't break the bank. I found the Smooth-on kind on their website but the only product they had was a gallon bucket for almost $200. Anything out there in the sample size variety?

Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or Pat Catan's has a little can of clear called "Casting Craft Easycast clear". I paid like 10 bucks. Good luck!
So me, trying to be tolerant of everybody's situations, went to a feminist picnic. Things fell apart fairly quickly after nobody made any sandwiches.

Echo Jimi (I know, scary thought)

Castin' Craft's Easycast Clear is what I also use - takes tint very well

Be aware that it's Polyester resin....wear breathing protection !

The mixing on that Clear cast must be spot on.
It can take a long time to finish curing. So if something feels sticky after 2 days...
Just cover it withpud having it touch any thing but a smooth base for a few weeks.
Most pieces will finish curing that way.

Tanya's spot on on that

Though I've had good luck "cooking" it at 150 degrees for an hour or so - bakes off the excess

Cast 3 replacement mirror clips (holds a mirror to a backboard) for a friend using that method - came out perfect

Make sure your 'baking' is also in a well ventilated area
