Floquil help

Post by sci-fi-bldr »

I just bought some Floquil for the first time...Reefer white...and Grime (some Star Wars projects ahead)

Can I get some tips from those of you who have used it...

Seems thinner than most bottle paints......can it go straight into an airbrush??.....If not.....whats a good ratio...whats a good thinning agent?

Are you using Floquil acrylics or lacquers? The lacquer paints are very high quality. Use either Floquil's Dio-Sol thinner or hardware store lacquer thinner. The usual suggestion to thin to the consistency of milk works well enough. Experiment on an old model first.
