krylon and plasticoat clear enamel & acrylic for plastic

I was in the paint dept. of wal mart and found a few spray paints and clear coats for plastics and i am wondering if anyone here has used these for your models ?
#1 krylon fusion- it is for all plastics and needs no priming or sanding it bonds instantly to the plastic it says. fast dry time too.

#2- Krylon Crystal clear Acrylic sealer also comes in a clear satin 12 minute dry time also for use on plastics.

#3- Plasticoat "odds -n- ends" fast dry clear Enamel fast dry time ,for plastics.
Has anyone tried these paints and clear coats ? which type of clear coat would be best to use on our models, the clear acrylic OR the clear Enamel ?

I have used both Krylon versions of clear coat,they work great on Resin models,but on styrene plastice models they shrink your decal and mutilate them,I had to go back to testors clear coat for my styrene models.Hope this helps.

shrunk the decals ?? thanks for the tip, how about a non decaled part say metallic silver? plasticote has an enamel clear for plastic and the krylon is an acrylic what IS best enamel or acrylic clear ?

I would go with the acrylic clear version,the enamel one I don't really like.

the acrylic seems like it would be easier on the model than the enamel which may be hard to remove if it didn't turn out right. what did the enamel clear do ?

Enamel seems to yellow after a year or so,the acrylic seems to not yellow as fast.

yellowing, i never thought about that, what an unwanted surprise that would be, thanks for the info and the heads up

Yes, thanks for that tip about the wrinkle effect Krylon sprays have on decals and the yellowing. Placing the yellowed model in direct sunlight for a short while may help get rid of the yellowing, it's a trick I read somewhere.
