How do I polish vacu-formed canopies?

Future isn't sticking to my vacu-formed canopy. What can I use instead to shine it up?

Try automotive wax.

I've never had problems with Future and vacuform canopies, though. Perhaps if you clean it with Windex before? That might disrupt a static charge.

Hi,

Do you know what type of plastic it is? Something in the PE family might cause problems. I'm not sure if Future works on polycarbonate either.

Otherwise, if you have a good plastic, wash the part in dish detergent and water then thoroughly rinse it in rubbing alcohol or stronger isopropyl alcohol. Some dish detergents leave a residue of anti-spotting agents that can interfere with acrylics.
