AMT/Ertl Large Xwing Lighting

Post by talon »

So I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on hiding the wires going from the fuselage to the engines which will each house a red superbright low angle LED. The kit wings aren't large enough to put a hole through them and I was hoping someone had an alternative to digging a trench.

Thats the only difficult problem I'm seeing, the other lighting I'm planning on is a white LED in R2 with drilled holes in the dome and the light colored by using gels. Then some LED's under the cockpit console to light up the red lights on the controls.

For dollhouse lighting, they make (or at least used to) what is essentially copper tape for use as hidden wiring.
