Lighting the Enterprise D (Ertl) HELP!!!!

Post by sillyface »

Hi Everyone.

Since I was 16 I've been trying to light the Enterprise D for years now and destroyed 3 models while doing it.

I'm a good model maker and I know how to use a soldering iron but not the first idea about how to wire it all up. I've seen some really cool examples of ones that look exactly like the one on tv with blinking lights and warp drive and windows lit up. Is there anyone out there that has done this and has a wiring diagram for me to follow?

PLease, please help me as I don't want to resort taking some course in electronics just to light a model.

There's an example of Trekmanscott's Cardassan Galor in the online build section, he walks us through his lighting/build up of the model begining to end.
