Thinning Primer

Post by iSteve »

I use Model Master Acryls and use their gray primer. How much can I thin it before it loses its effective priming qualities i.e. keeps paint sticking to the surface?

Not sure about their primer but others here and I have thinned Mr. Surfacer 1200 about 70% and shot it through our airbrushes. I would experiment with different percentages on scrap plastic, or a crucible model, to see what works best.
