Wet Palette for slow paintbrushing

I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate paintbrushing sometimes, especially for figures, with paint drying out too quickly, especially when I mix up a custom colour in figure painting. I don't have retarders available. However I just came across something which looks very useful, and easy to put together. Take a look at this:

Post how it goes. I might try that myself. I agree, it's a pain when paint dries too quickly, especially if you have to get up to answer the phone or something.

I'm guessing they're using parchment paper rather than wax paper, but it's hard to tell. It'll be nice to know for sure if you try it.

Make sure you get true parchment paper and not the new non-stick variety that contains silicones, the latter will cause serious problems with paints.
