first larger rtv mold dy-100

Post by davidlgreen »

with the help of nelson burke from theengineerguy.com, i molded the dy-100 vacuum form kit from small world science fiction. i used smooth-on's vita-flex 40, vacuum it for 2-3 minutes then poured slowly. pretty good results, no bubbles crisp detail,
will pour resin this weekend.

Good work, David. Nelson is my "guy" for all my resin supplies. They have fantastic customer service and they've recently started stocking Aves products.
