One I prepared earlier

The challenge: build any kind of hover tank without using a tank kit's hull or turret - because nothing saus 'fun' like 70 tons of floating mayhem.

One I prepared earlier

I know this violates the "no tank hull" rule, but I figured I'd post it anyway. I posted it a few years ago but here it is again:

Cheetah C2A4

Another angle\

1/35 Trumpeter S-103, scratchbuilt barrel, parts from everything from a 1/24 Votoms kit to 1/24 car shocks and mufflers. I really need to take some better pics of this.

Not bad, not bad at all. I really like the big fans on the side.

Dig the avatar, too.

Neat tank, pity it's not in the running for this challenge!

They SHOULD be knackered! Don't believe me? Get thee to You Tube and see for yourself.
There is a solution to every problem. Sometimes it's just C4.

Fine. I got an Avatar. Happy?

DISQUALIFIED!

:P Just givin ya some stuff. I know you didnt build it for the challenge. Ill let it pass for inspiration to others and actually a good example of what not to do for this challenge.

The Trumpeter S tank is quite recognizeable. Other than that though it looks cool and is well done.

That's what I had intended in the first place: that it should provide some inspiration.

Well, the question is moot anyway -- the thing is currently undergoing a major rebuild/rethink.
