Adding Sound FX

Post by DarthNot2Serious »

Hi, I'm embarking on a new project and would like to try something that I've never done before. I want to add an mp3 track into my model. It's a 1/25 Ghostbusters Ecto 1, and I'd like to keep the speaker and circuitry inside the model itself. Any suggestions for the best way to accomplish this?

I would use the Dam-01 Mini Portable USB SD MP3 Player Speakers.
Very small, once it is opened, I'm pretty sure all the electronics would fit in there. and it is very cheap on Ebay 280483000198

I use it for my Zscale train projects, but I always open them up, they take less room once the external box is taken away. And the sound for special effects is just great.

You could hide this just about anywhere.

This may be a little late but I got a unit from radio shack for around 10 bucks. You can record right to it and it came with a speaker...Nice little unit. i think it records up to 25 sec. :?
