EL Wire and clear resin?

If I embed EL Wire in clear resin will it still work?

Well i coat EL sheet with clear epoxy and that still works fine....

The only thing I could think of that would casue a problem would eb the heat generated by the resin while curing.

And I don't think clear resin generates that much heat.
