Extremely tiny pre-wried SMT LEDs?

Post by MillenniumFalsehood »

I know I saw these things pop up on eBay once, but they're gone now and I'd like to use them to light the Galactica's name plate. I looked on Oznium and SuperBrightLEDs, but the ones they had were too big. I need those really tiny ones, the ones that are about 1mmx2mm, and I don't have a soldering station so I can't just solder unmodified ones.

If you don't have a soldering iron, get one! For tiny surface mount bits you don't need a good one. Hit up the Radio Shack going out of business sale amd [racyice. practice, practice!

I have not ordered from the uk link and have only ordered regular LEDs from lighthouse with no issues and quick delivery for me as an international destination.

I've ordered a bunch of nano and pico SMDs from Evan Designs (http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/). Heck of a bargain at $2 a pop considering the fine soldering involved!

BTW - He offers free shipping on orders greater than $40!
