How to make an LED flicker

Just as it says, how do I make an led flicker, I baught an LED tea candel. But the chip is built into the LED. Any ideas?

You already have one that flickers. But if you want to use it to make another LED flicker, you can put it in series with the one from the tea candle. Some people freak out over series LEDs like bacon bits at a bar mitzvah, but it works fine if the second LED operates with the same amount of current or less than the flickering one. If it operates with less current, then it needs a resistor or a second LED in parallel with it. And of course enough voltage for the series combination.

I used this in my KBoP where flickering yellow LEDs lit up the engine and blue and red LEDs were in series with them to give the warp core a flickering glow. Video. I think I explain what I was doing in this post.
But isn't it all Klingon opera?

Starlighting Projects has some cool flickering LED effects for their torches. Perhaps they'd be up for selling just the flickering LEDs without the torch thing. I'm not sure it'd be applicable to what you're doing.
