medium grey substitute

Post by merkin63 »

I'm going to be on a trip staying in a motel and wanted to work on the new Viper mk VII kit but won't take my airbrush because I'm not a fan of canned air so I will just use rattle cans instead. The cockpit instructions say it is supposed to be painted medium grey but model master doesn't make a medium grey in a rattle can but I do have a few cans of Aircraft FS numbered greys and wonder if one may be a close match.I wouldn't mind if it's slightly lighter in color because I will weather the cockpit pretty well which will darken the over all color. Thanks for any suggestions.

Testors paints here:
Aggressor grey looks good for neutral. Medium's not bad either.
