Spray painting SPychanger.

Hi, I have a question I am making a Bumble Bee Spychanger, I need to paint it mostly yellow and was thinking about using spray paint for the first time, since trying to paint over the white Jazz body I used would take multiple coats of Acrylic and gum up the joints, please help me with what would work on the joints and moving mechanisms, I plan on painting the details after getting the maincolors down, and have left it so that he still unscrews into parts so that I can paint seperately and not get on the wheels trying to paint the inside of the wheel wells and such, this is going to be my first actually transformable kitbash and would like it to look nice, thanks.
