Newbie applying decals

Post by shodanman »

I'm building and just finished painting a 1/350 1701 refit using acrylic paints.
I'm ready to put on the aztec decals, but I'm not too sure whether I can put them on the paint directly or need to put them on a gloss coat. Different people tell me different things.
Which is the best way as I have never really used decals before.
If I need to use a gloss coat which brand is the best?
Thanks for your help.

Since you used acrylics then I suggest using future floor polish other wise your finish is going to turn yellow with time.
Normal?? What is normal??
