Best solvent for use on Round 2 decals???

Post by crowe-t »

The decals Round 2 provides with their kits are quite thick and don't seem to respond to the setting solutions and solvents well.

I've used both Microscale's Micro Sol and Walther's Solvaset and neither will make the clear film disappear.

Does anyone have any suggestions when applying Round 2's decals?

Try using HOT water. soak in very warm water then blot with a hot but not wet towel. This seems to work wonders on the decals in Hasegawa and Tamiya airplane kits. Once blotted do not touch or add decal softner.

Try experimenting first to see if it works for you...
