Tamiya and Future mix?

Post by nicholassagan »

Do Tamiya acrylics mix well with Future? I want to add a little extra gloss to some thinned down chrome silver but am curious if it's even worth experimenting with if someone has already tried this...

I've thinned Tamiya down with Future on numerous occasions, works great.

It will get glossy but you can knock that back with some flat base if needed.

I'm thinking to keep the gloss. I'm planning on some P-51D's and want to do some preshading while maintaining a "metallic" topcoat...
