Alternative to Micro Kristal Klear

Does anyone know of a good alternative for Micro Kristal Klear? Looking for something to make clear windows on my model.

Humbrol Clearfix is one. Good quality, water-clear epoxy glue is another. I believe that Testors also make one.

For a sticky on the subject try... http://www.starshipmodeler.net/talk/vie ... hp?t=59176

I recently tried 5-min epoxy for windows and wouldn't recommend that. It's so thick it wouldn't flow in to fill the windows completely (that was an easy fix), and bubbles got trapped in there (not an easy fix). I may have to redo them, or just live with it.
But isn't it all Klingon opera?
