Got a question about techniques, materials or other aspects of physically building a model? This is the place to ask.

Devcon EPOXY vs. Gorilla Glue EPOXY???

Post by crowe-t »

Does anyone know which one of these, Devcon or Gorilla Glue Epoxy, is better for using on styrene kits?

I've used Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy in the past but am wondering if Gorilla Glue Epoxy is better.

Both glues are good, but watch out though, some glues will attack styrene.I use Gorrilla glue alot for high stress joins where i won't a good joint.Baically the Gorilla glue is tough stuff and can't be beat.I keep alot of different glues on hand for different jobs, you have to experiment to find out what glue does what. For the price alittle goes along way,so don't use a whole bunch.
