RB Models

Post by Kylwell »

Some seriously sweet machined parts from Poland, RB Models.

From 75mm rifled Sherman barrels to the huge 17cm. Even 25mm Bushmaster barrels & muzzle breaks.

I ordered a 152mm ML-20S barrel so I'll trot out a review when it shows.

There's some really cool stuff there. I like the wooden barrels, and the telegraph poles with little insulators.
I speak of the pompatous of plastic.

I've placed an order with them for a few things, we'll see how they look in person.

I wish I knew why it is I'm damned near unable to pass by nifty little turned pieces of metal....

I got a set of their barrels for my Trumpeter 1/32 P-38. I also got their set for my 1/32 P-47. The are just beautiful...

Got the barrels in.

Mind you, I don't have that much experience with turned barrels but the fact that the muzzle brakes screw on impressed me. The 122mm D-30 L38 barrel is 11 machined parts and 7 PE parts. Even the relatively simple barrel of the 17cm Kanone is 6 machined parts and a tiny piece of PE.

Who cares?!?!? They're cool! Those rifled turrets are just awesome.

Aside from using them for turrets, they'd make great greeblies of any kind.

.. and they are very nice.

Picked up a few items at a local Model Show.. the 1/35 bucket has 5 parts !

The BESA MG's for Brit tanks are just fantastic as are the 20mm Flak barrels.

heaps of niceness there... got a couple of barrels for kit bashing as well.
