Friday Class - Sci Fi Modeling School

Post by veedubb67 » Tue Feb 21, 2017 1:17 pm

"It's not what you start with, it's what you do with it!"

Friday (2 June 2017) 9 am - 4 pm

Limited to the first 12 paid students.

Learn airbrush techniques you can use for spaceships and just about any other modeling subject such as aging and paint chipping for added realism. Start the day with instruction on controlling and cleaning a double action airbrush by our team of qualified, experienced Iwata instructors; Rob Schmitt and Tom Grossman.

The rest of the day you'll use your new and/or improved skills to paint up a U Wing in your own color scheme and markings. Your U Wing Kit kit will be primed, it's up to you decide your color scheme and markings.

U Wings from class will be displayed in the Amazing Model Contest. Public vote will decide the Best SFMS U Wing. Best U-Wing trophy by Laserfire Creations and sponsored by TAG Team Hobbies.

Basic Student Package starts at $165 and includes:
• Revell 85-1637 U Wing Kit primed and ready to go

That is correct. SciFi Modeling School is sold out for 2017.

Still plenty of room in Airbrush 101 classes on Saturday and Sunday. No charge for Wonderfest attendees. All equipment and supplies provided.

If you want, you can purchase your own equipment and use it for the first time in class. www.tagteamhobbies.com

Will the class include some tips on how to take care of brushes? I know some, but could stand to learn more :)

Wait, I was talking about the sable brushes. But I could stand to have a refresher on airbrushes too. It would do me good.
