Guys, give him time to breathe! Good grief, the deadline was only yesterday - you know John's got other things to do as well as this contest. :)

I'd hazard a guess they are not up yet. Calm, patience. I'm pretty sure squawking about how it's being executed will not make it appear any quicker.

John does a hell of a job holding all this together.

I'm at a loss what to say. This is a hobby, supposed to be fun and people are whinging because its a bit behind schedule? Get over it. Poor attitudes and an ignorance of what goes on behind the scenes sure takes the fun out of it.

I pulled my web store due to people who delivered rude and i'll formed rants because they were not happy that I didn't sit 24/7 on my computer to answer any question within 5 seconds of it being posted. How the internet has empowered people to be so brazen from the comfort of their keyboard!

Kudos to Onezero, this isn't the first time I've seen an offensive remark in the forums delivered in an attempt to get Onezero moving. He's a better man than me, I'd have shrugged my shoulders and dropped contests years ago rather than be moaned at.

It's not my place to debate on what else is going on in Onezero's life, but he has just that- a life, so give him some slack and let him also attend to it as well as providing us all some entertainment in what is after all nothing more important than a hobby.

Wow, all these years I've been a SSM member, and this is my first ever rant, something touched a nerve.....

Is it safe to assume that if ones entry is not currently posted that either it was not received or was rejected? Or is it that there has not been enough time to make pages for all the entries yet?

Just curious...

Thank you,
Brent

This. John is currently at WonderFest. And he spent much time prepping for that event. And it will take him time to recover from that as well afterwards. So, just sit back, and be patient. John does this all pretty much by himself, so...

Oh okay. Thank you very much for the information. I was just confused -- which is typical.

Thank you,
Brent

There's just a few off the links on the contest page, I admit things are a bit slow on this one,. but I am sure onezero is working hard to get them all up there soon.

I could move your entry to the back of the line......

I am a one man shop, I'm dealing with a metric buttload of issues, and there are only so many hours in the day. That I am writing this at 1am local should be corroborating evidence.

I absolutely *will* post *all* entries. The issue is at the top of my to-do list.

Bugging me about it is not the best strategy for getting it done, is what I'm saying.

He knows how grabby you can be, Paul. Watch those roaming hands. :D

So, John, is a metric buttload bigger than an English buttload, or an imperial buttload?

For the record, I apologised to John, I never meant to upset him at all. I assumed everyone know what A (((hug))) was, He apologised right back again, there was a whole metric buttload of apologising back and forth accross the atlantic. it's all cool now.
