Quick Question?

Post by Andy_USA » Sat Feb 15, 2014 6:12 pm

OK would an SAFS or a Heinrick in WW2 markings count? Seems like a natural category for MaK builders. :D

I cannot answer your question, Andy, but - I think your wife should do an entry. :) At least encourage her to do so ... :)

If she likes figures, she could do an anime kit - in Victorian clothing. ;)

I know that's not what the instructions say, but the kit's wrong anyway.

Like Rob (the Other Rob)'s M-56 Golem, hero of the 1947 atomic battlefield?

Yep, sure - SF3d/MaK as alt-WW2 would work.

Alt hx question.

Post by tsgtkenny » Thu Feb 20, 2014 4:44 pm

So what about a craft of some sort from an alt history novel? Are they fair game? I've read numerous alt hx books and would like to build a model out of one of them.
thanks. :)

OK she has two figures built and primered and the base laid out. She goes by the name Midnight Modeler cause she likes burning the midnight oil. I only have a subject picked out. How far along are the rest of you? LOL :)

Monster you have revived yes?

Monster? No - modeler! :D :D

I have my idea, and have started mangling plastic in pursuit of said idea. I even have a second identical kit in case I mess up and have to start again. :)

tsgtkenny:

Alt history stories are seriously fairgame; the time machine that is featured in James P Hogan's The Proteus Operation (JFK sends a team back to 1940 to stop the Nazi a-bomb project) would be wicked cool, just kinda large for a model. :0

Most anime leaves me underwhelmed, so I understand that - but it doesn't have to be from any anime.
