I have something!

From the original Departures that is not yet complete and I have never shown anyone. I guess I'll finish that.

I have a kit of an odd historical vehicle that I'd bought from a small company just for the prior Departures contest; it depicted a vehicle built by a famous inventor which potentially could have had a tremendous influence on the outcome of the first World War.

The joys of dealing with a small mail-order company are that they do a great job on their product. The pains of such a company is that they can be hideously slow on delivery. Yep, I received the kit after the deadline.

But, being a packrat, I stored it safely away... til now. Heh, heh, heh...

The beauty of this theme is .... there really is no excuse for not entering. You can build, literally, *anything*. All you have to do is be able to explain it as alternate history.

It's like a "Just Glue It!" with an over all general explanation theme. Works for me. :D

I know that's not what the instructions say, but the kit's wrong anyway.

Excellent. Now I get to finish one of my unfinished what-ifs. Only need to wring a back story out of it as well.

My latest idea is "What if I actually finished a model".

I'm stuck trying to make a look of incredulity on a figure model tho...

Gotcha beat - I've had a vague desire for quite a while now to build one of these. Best part is that the write-up is already done! :)

I've got quite a few unfinished ideas that I'm working on...

You sure do. I haven't had a second to spare for building this side of new year so I'm out.
