Cydonia and I got to my house in Jackson, MI about an hour ago. He's in the living room getting stuff boxed up and ready to ship back to Louisiana. I'm taking him to the airport tomorrow morning for his 12-ish hour trip home.

Great seeing everyone this year, and I can't wait (again) until next year.

FYI: The show dates for 2017 are June 3 and 4.

My friend and I are in Los Angeles, where security guards stood around in the middle of the Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles restaurant near the airport. I guess seeing security guards everywhere means that this is a safe place, right?

Lonewolf, did I meet you? I met plenty of forum members who don't post so much on here anymore, but I don't recall meeting you.

17-hour drive. Made it home after a 2-hour delay on I-40 due to a major accident East of Little Rock that closed the interstate in both directions and directed folks to use state highway 70. The long drive was very tiring for me, but I hope everyone was okay on the scene of the accident.

We made it home safely after 18 hours on the road. I love WonderFest but driving from Colorado to Louisville is brutal!

I don't think we actually connected, and I wanted to meet you.

I was at Iron Modeler (part of Team CoMMiES that built the Eagle 6) and I was pretty much bouncing around all weekend. I think I finally managed to stumble out of the RI suite around 0445 on Sunday morning and make my way back to HoJo's across the street.

I visited Pegasus Hobbies in California today and by coincidence, I saw the trio of Japanese guys who were selling resin kits of the Alien, Monster Hunter, and other stuff that were on your right as you'd walk into the dealer's room. We said hello. That was pretty wild.

Paula (got to get her a handle) an I just walked, or stumbled in the door!
Awesome time as usual, good seeing every one and making new friends.

I missed saying hi to a couple folks at Smokey Bones Sunday night and I apologize, we needed to get back to Robbie's birthday party.

Time to start planning for next year!

And don't forget the challenge that was thrown down . . . . . 800 kits to be entered in next year's contest.

I gotta start thinking about what I'm gonna build, and I haven't even had time to unpack yet!

I walked in the door about 5:45 MDT last night. Tired but in one piece.
