When lighting interiors, is brighter always better? White LEDs with a warm yellowish glow

I went to my LHS today looking for some more of a certian type of white LED I had purchased there. They didn't have it, but I picked up lots of great supplies I hadn't noticed before. Seams on canopies

I'm working on a kitbash and was needing some suggestions on a compound to fill the seams between the dyed and clear plastic. Mr. Surfacer doesn't craze the plastic, but will not be "thick" enough for one particular area.

Any suggestions?

I picked up some "castin'craft" brand clear casting resin at the railroad shop across the river. It dries cyrstal clear, but it is very thick, so a vac chamber is a must have. The mixing directions are also kind of vauge as they apply to the thickness of the prototype.
