As I understood it, our rotation for the Lake Effect was this, originally : 1. Scotaidh 2. Prince of Styrene 3. Ignatz 4. Gundamhead 5. Lonewolf finishes the model and arranges for the model to show up at WF. Ignatz has asked to not be in the rotation for the second model, but he's sending the Lake ...

Thanks to Johnnycrash posting Ignatz's phone number I was able to call him (Ignatz). I left a message and my number. He called me back! :-) Iggy asked me to let everyone know that he is now OK, not dead or in a ditch, but that he was a month in hospital & recovery because of a blood infection th...

OK - Progress! Prince of Styrene has the Bacqatcha . We both agreed, this is the better model of the two (this and the first one). When it left me, it looked like this: Stern view Starboard Flank Bow Port Flank I expect it will soon look quite different. :-) In other news, Ignatz is still not answer...

Prince of Styrene, are you ready to receive? I think I'm about ready to ship this out to you ... just a wee bit more PSR, and I do mean a wee bit.

Work in progress . . . Uh... Should you be posting pictures of your Bong?? I don't smoke wacky tabaccy - never have, don't ever expect to. OK - quick and dirty. I'm planning to spend only a week on this, then send it on to Prince of Styrene.

I'm calling it the Bacqatcha.

It's clear right now, mostly, but that will change. :)

Works for me. Sucks the original model (and next builder in the rotation) have gone missing. Ignatz's last post that I can see here on this thread was February 4. I checked my Outbox , and the PM I sent on February 28th with my mailing address is still unread. I hope he's okay. Do you think we can ...

It seems we are DIW ... dead in the water.

Do we have time for me to start another one?

Do we want to start another one, and this time skip Ignatz, since he seems to have fallen off the planet?

That's right. I forgot he was in the rotation after Prince of Styrene II. So I'm fifth on the list instead of fourth. Got it! So, should I figure on receiving it . . . end of this month, or beginning of next? And are we only doing one rotation? We're under the 90-day mark until WonderFest. If Gunda...

Hmmmmm. That's giving me ideas. Looks like I need to go through the parts boxes/drawers before this reaches my house. I have some bits and pieces in mind that would work in some areas. What scale are we thinking of for this? That would give me a better idea of things to add. Also, any specific &quo...

With 5 members, I think once around is OK - I suggested it when we had 3 members, but now I don't think we need the second time around.

Anyone remember how long each person had with the original Traveling Model?

I don't particularly care for Rule #1 - this isn't Iron Modeller, after all. Last time I was taken by the diversity of the results. I feel it would be ... restrictive, I guess, to mandate a common starting base.

Besides, I've already started scratch-building. :)
