Utilizing it is easy, strip the wires and solder it into your ciruitry. ... However,... If the batteries are nicad, then it may be, that the phone batteries had to be replaced because the pack is not holding its charge. The batteries could also have built up a memory, in which case, they will not di...

If you find that the power is dying more quickly than you anticipated, then yes, you can connect batteries in parallel to "make the gas tank bigger". As with batteries in series adding their voltage together, 6v 4ahr+6v 4ahr= 12v 4ahr... LED in series 2v+2v+2v = 6v.... so if using a six vo...

If you can use 0.60 acrylic rather than styrene, you might get better results.
All the styrene cuts I had kind of over melted, and sometimes curled.

Aahh, but the flaws in metal casting can be thrown back
into the pot and melted down for another run. :D

Your wiring set up as written needs about 16.4 volts. As written, you have wired the LED in series. If you want to use 6 volts, you will probably may need a 1/4 watt resistor in there at at least 150ohm, and all the LED should get their own positive and negative leads once the power enters the model...

Servos are not really stepper motors. As a servo turns, the gears inside also turn a potentiometer. The resistance feedback that the potentiometer provides then tells the servo board when to stop the motor. Now this known, if you just want to push a button to move the head left, or push a button to ...
