A lot depends on the construction of your paint booth, but getting a furnace filter big enough to cover the inlet of the air system and duct tape into place. If the system is open air with an exhaust side then it becomes more difficult. Arranging several like you were building a card house might wor...

I have some of that 'Wire Glue'- very disappointing. It does not conduct very well and is not much of a glue.
They do make some conductive epoxies- I had a thread looking for some like that a couple of weeks ago. They are expensive and I have not bought them yet.

I probably use 'tensile' strength incorrectly- what I was refereing to is what you called shear strength. I hate buildnig something and then having a part 'opo off when the model is stresses. I stick to epoxies (pun unintended) for resin kits and good old fashioned testors tub gell glue for styrene....

Personally I hate the 'super-glues'. They stick tightly but have no tensile strength- some stress and the part is loose with just dust. I like to use styrene plastic since it is what I have used most of my life and I know how to push it. Acrylic is great for some uses but it is harder to work with I...

Custom colors and subtle panel color changes.
I do tend to use rattle can and brush more (well most of the time since my brush died), but as mentioned above you can get some great scale surface appearences with th eairbrush.

I always look at kits as points of departure- even if it is just adding some detail where things seem blank.
I htink the only kits I have build OOB in the past 30 years are the Bandai Star Trek ships- they fit together like watches and already have the aztecing painted on.

Same here- Epoxy is best for that sort of thing. CA sticks well but has no strength - it can pop to dust with any flexing/pressure.

Nothing fancy-
EasyCast clear casting epoxy.
The mold was from brushed on latex mold builder (many layers)

I know there are much better materials and methods but I just needed to make this one part for my project. Now that I know it is so much fun I will get more ambitious for the next one.
