I just use a "very fine" brush (sometimes even one bristle) and a light that I have with a magnifyer that looks like this!

It takes ALOT of patience. But that lamp makes it significantly easier!

Okay, I'll try to pick some up tomorrow. Yeah, they were applied over a gloss - but it was a gloss finish color, not a clear gloss. I've never had trouble with this before.

Question about decals

I'm usually pretty good at applying decals, but I've got a kit that my decals are across a lot of uneven surface - they looked good when they were wet they, but now that they've dried they've lifted and they're not going down into the dips. I didn't use a decal set, but I've been using a decal solve...

Yeah, I fiigured the resolution might be on the low side. But a friend of mine wants an excuse to build one, so I figure it might work for some good basic shapes, then detail it up after.

I build most of what I need using the telescopic K&S brass rod and tubing. I've built a ships crane, and a retractable ships mast using the K&S product to simulate hydraulics. :8) And Evergreen tubing, while not as robust nor as refined as K&S tubing, also works. I've built several item...

I will be working on kitting some Expanded Universe Star Wars stuff, and was thinking about how to include landing gear that works. I'll keep you in mind. I think it would be great to have a ship that can be either flight or landed, depending on whimsy, but most kits you have to choose one or the ot...
