Almost never. Mostly for reasons already given but also, from having it preached to me throughout my childhood modeling phase, as a form of protest.

I found this on a site about making car chassis. It calculates and produces a pattern for cutting pipes intersecting at angles and offsets. I thought some one here might have a use for it scratching something.
