Question about removing paint

Would using methylated spirits to remove enamel paint damage tamiya gray putty, or any other putty for that matter?

Thanks in advance.

Dull coat

hello, would someone be able to explain if this means 'a simple clear coat'? there was a guy on an other modeling site who described a realy cool way of getting this effect that i want. At the end he said that you have to put a dull coat on for it to all come together. Thanks in advance for any help.

star trek the original series rock formations

Hi,

Ive been using textured paint to make up rocks and things, and im interested in making some original series style rock formations.

But one thing i need to know is how they made them, was it plaster, paper mache, or somthing else.

I would like !any! info on this stuff, cheers.
